If this music is not for an audience, then why do you:

1. Play in a public place?
2. Solicit tips from the audience?

Their money is good, but not much else?

This is inconsistent at best.

It’s a lot of fun to go the Celtic jams. You never know who’s going to be there or what they will play, and you can usually get some good food too.

This particular road of life is always downhill, but the wind is in your face like a good motorcycle ride!

Hey Folks - Chris Bayer has a new project worked up called The Miner's Farewell, which explores music in this area back in the Gold Rush days. I had the pleasure of seeing the beta-test run at Eddy Street Books a couple of weeks ago. Lots of the tunes we play come out of the Sierra goldfields. Check it out if you get the opportunity.
